This Year's Cards

This years Holiday Card Project

brought record numbers once again!! Not only did we meet our goal but we almost doubled last year's numbers!! We received over 5535 cards for our Features!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Be sure and read all the personal thanks sent from our Features!

Allow me to share all the details :)

This year brought MANY cards from Scout Troops! The United Way of Lancaster, Pa had sent out a mass email to all their "scout contacts" asking them to participate and WOW, did they ever! They also did a wonderful article asking for local volunteers. Thanks Kathleen Dougherty!!  Your organization was a HUGE part of the success in this year's Holiday Card Project and we can't thank you enough!

We also had an article in Card Maker Magazine in the "Readers Reach Out" area of the magazine. Not only did we get a few new members but we got TONS of beautiful handmade cards! Thank you Mary P. for letting us know of the magazine column and thank you Mary Maloney of Card Maker Magazine for "Featuring" us!!

We had several groups help us meet our goal as well. Some were non-profit groups. Some were church groups of various sorts.....Life Groups/Bible Study Groups/Sunday School Classes etc. We had two groups participate that are regular card making groups. One made me snicker as it was only signed, "The Five of Us Ladies" lol.  We even had an Assisted Living home help make cards for others!

We had so many wonderful, beautiful cards!

THANK YOU seems like such a small word for all you have done but it comes from the bottom of our hearts!

ShareaCard is looking for more wonderful happenings in 2010! We hope you will be a part of it all :)

Big Hugs,

Kath, Cindy, Gigi, Connie and Tricia
