Angel is 46 years old. She has her own business as a Dental Lab Technician. That is someone that makes dentures, partials, etc. as a subcontractor for Dentists.

Angel and her husband, Randy have one daughter, Michelle, age 24.

Angel is one of those people that “lights up a room” when she enters. She doesn’t know a stranger and is a friend to everyone. That is proven by a large group of friends and family that have come forward to put on a benefit in August to help pay medical bills.

Since January 7^, 2008, Angel has undergone 3 major surgeries and 4, three week cycles of chemotherapy in this short time. She was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach/gastric cancer.

Angel became suddenly ill on January 7, 2008 and went to the local emergency. They found masses in her lower abdomen and she was sent to a surgeon. She had emergency surgery on January 10^th and they removed to large masses from her ovaries that were cancerous but determined that is was not ovarian cancer but stomach cancer that had spread. She was stage 4.

She had a 2^nd surgery in February that was planned to remove her stomach but other cancer was found in the organ lining and the decision was made to stop at that point and move to chemotherapy.

She then had 4, three week cycles of chemotherapy.

In late June she had a 3^rd surgery and her stomach was removed which she is now recovering from.

NOTE- Angel and Randy learned of ShareaCard thru Barb, Sheila's mom. ShareaCard Featured Sheila in October 2004. Barb met Angel and Randy each selling handmade items in their local park. Barb thought Angel was the "sweetest thing" and thought she would love being Featured on ShareaCard :)
