Anna's Story

 

as told by her Mom Julie

 

Anna is a tough little 2 year old. She started having a tremor in her left arm and leg about 3 weeks before they found that she had a neuroblastoma, childhood cancer in the form of a tumor on the adrenal gland. This condition has not held her back from anything! She keeps up with her 7 year old sister and insists on being very independent. "Anna's turn" is her saying when she wants to do it herself. Anna's next step is surgery to try and remove most of the tumor and then most likely chemotherapy.

Anna loves stickers!! Her favorite characters are Spongebob, Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer and Teletubbies. Drop some stickers in your cards!!

 

SIBLINGS: Anna's 7 year old sister is Elise. She loves Barbie, Bratz dolls, drawing and hair accessories (she has long brown hair). It sounds like this has been hard on her - if you can include something for her too it would make a world of difference!
