I am a 43 year old mother and wife. I first was diagnosed
with colon cancer at age 38 and was thought to have been treated
for it. In 2009 I was diagnosed with colon cancer again except
this time it had spread to both my lungs. I received chemo every
two weeks and will as long as it is working to prolong my life.
There is no cure for this as radiation or surgery would greatly
reduce my quality of life by taking out too much viable lung.
I live my life as well as I can and try to enjoy everything I
can at this time. The chemo really affects me and reduces my
ability to do a lot of the things I want to do. I try to be
positive but sometimes it is hard. I appreciate all the support
I get.
Comments: I enjoy gardening, flowers, birds. I love to fish, do
crafts and paint. My favorite colors are pink and purple but I
like all colors. I like most scents but love floral, woodsy
scents. I love all animals especially dogs and horses. enjoy
and love the outdoors and nature.
