Sudie: "I received my BOX of Christmas cards today and was I ever surprised. I recognized the smiley face immediately, but thought "Oh, look, they've sent me a gift". I never expected it to be filled to the brim with Christmas cards. When I opened up the box tears came to my eyes. I just couldn't believe that I had received so  many Christmas cards. It was totally amazing. The ones that really touched my heart were the ones from the children. I was crying so hard I could barely read the words on the cards. To think that these children, who don't have any idea who I am, would take the time to make a personal card for me. It was fantastic. Words fail me at the moment. I would like to thank each and every one personally, but since that isn't possible, please know that you have made my Christmas a very happy one in spite of the difficulties I've had to face in the past year."

Jan "I just had to write you a quick e-mail to let you know Wayne brought in a BOX yesterday and guess who it was from?  Your Santa's Elves and God's Precious Angels on earth.  WOW, Wayne had a huge smile on his face when he delivered it with care to me.  He said my smile was brighter than any light he has seen.  So, I guess my smile must have been at least a thousand watts right?  *grin*  It took me over three hours to open all of the cards up, I have never seen so many cards in my life and they were all for me.  I felt so loved and these precious volunteers of yours hand made some, sent adorable little things for me, I just adored the cards from the children.   I even got some Birthday cards.  This was so special.  I loved the dreamsicles ornaments.  I loved the 2008 pocket calendar with the sayings.  I've read all of them and they truly are inspirational and I will treasure those all year through.  Wayne commented how happy I was while reading through all the cards and looking at the gifts that were sent to me.  I loved the Angels and I placed them on my chest in my Angel Room.  Wayne said to me there sure was a lot of love, care, and happiness packed in that box.  I said to him You are so correct in that statement.  I have been having a hard time Kathy and those moments that I shared with Wayne  and my Love Caring Box from you yesterday will last a lifetime.  When I blow my candles out on the 26th my wish will be that everyone will feel as happy as I was yesterday and that God will continue to bless your organization.  I just pray you can let everyone know how appreciative I am for all they have done for me.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I can never say it enough, I just pray you can sense my feelings through this e-mail."

Ed: Ed received his box today.  He is a crochety old crabby man who had a finger amputated this morning for gangrene.  I sat on the floor and opened the envelopes and he read - this man had tears in his eyes.  When he saw the cards the kids made - it was unreal.  I could not believe he had tears!  These touched him so much  you would just not believe it. The little Northern Lights ornaments are GORGEOUS.  The angel from Angels of Destiny is gorgeous too!  I just don't have the words to say thank you to all the people who made this all possible for all the features.  Anyone who says "its just a card" has NO idea what it is like to get this when everything around you is falling apart at the seams.  We have a card wreath and a basket - the wreath is displaying all the cards.  The sheer volume is mind boggling!  When I took them all out and kept taking them out, he kept asking there is more?  These are all for me?  Yep all for you!  I KNOW the other features will be as touched and thrilled.  What a lovely afternoon we had going thru them and reading each one.

I want to say thank you from Ed and from me from the bottoms of our hearts. Ed & Tricia

Loraine: I got my box of Christmas cards yesterday.  I was so surprised to see all the cards. I want to thank everyone that had anything to do with this project.  It came at a good time for me.  I have been in the hospital all last week and Bud went to St Louis today to start
his chemo treatments.
We haven't opened all of the cards yet but we will soon.  The cards from the kids are so special.  The girl scout cards means alot to me because I was a girl scout leader.  All of the cards both Christmas and birthday are very special.  Also the angels that I received are
so pretty.  I would like to be able to thank each one for their
cards and gifts.

Savannah: Savannah is still  in the hospital.  She is to be discharged on Christmas Eve if she continues to do well. The room is quite festive. Savannah has a small tree up and all decorated :) She also has been looking through all her cards that you all were so thoughtful to send. It really cheers her up to see how people from everywhere are thinking of her.
