Robin passed away on Dec 6th,
2010. Please keep her husband,
Chad and their 4 kids, Hannah, Nathan, Jonas, and Karis in
your prayers.
Robin is many things. She is a 39-year-old amazing woman,
who happens to be a local pastor's wife. She has 4 children,
Hannah 17, Nathan 16, Jonas 14, and Karis 10. Her husband's
name is Chad. They met in college.
Robin has been battling breast cancer off/on for 6+ years. It
goes away and comes back in some other part of her body.
She was recently told she now has leptomeningeal carcinomatosis,
which is a rare complication from breast cancer. It is
basically cancer that has spread to her brain in the lining
between her brain and the blood flow.
She was told she has 12 weeks at best with 10 whole brain
radiation treatments. As always she has taken this news, with a
"this is God's plan" attitude. Her faith is unwaivering.
She is the most generous and kindhearted woman I have ever known
in my life.
I know she would be overwhelmed with appreciation and gratitude
for any cards or words of encouragement she receives and can
pass onto her kids who are trying to process this information.
Comments: She is a bible study teacher, a substitute teacher,
she likes to cook. She loves chocolate and enjoys wine. She
loves to scrapbook. She enjoys sending cards and thank you
notes to everyone. Her time is spent at church and with her
husband, kids, and friends. She enjoys volunteering and helping
others.
